Frederick Eberhardt, Ph.D.

Professor of Philosophy

Research interest: I work at the intersection of philosophy of science, machine learning and statistics. My main interest lies in the development of methods for causal discovery from statistical data. Over the past few years I have become particularly interested in the possibility of understanding causal relations in the brain and how we might surmount the technical challenges of inferring these connections from our rather indirect means of measurement.
